Tena koutou, tena koutou, tena koutou katoa. 

Hello to you all, 

Madeleine’s ancestors came from Scotland, Ireland and England over four generations ago. Madeleine grew up under the shelter of Mt Meredith next to the Whareama River, however, Mount Ruapehu is close to her heart. Te Tiriti o Waitangi is the cloak that is wrapped around her shoulders. Madeleine lives in Wellington with her husband. They have three adult sons and a cat. 

Madeleine graduated as a social worker in 1979, she worked in Health and Mental Health. She has maintained her membership of ANZASW since the 80’s.      

In 1995 Madeleine moved into private practice and now works as a People Skills Consultant and is passionate about collaborating with people to find answers that support them to achieve their goals.

She does that by supporting leaders, staff, managers, and teams often within complex environments and tricky issues of grief and loss, negotiation, influencing and managing difficult behaviours.

Madeleine is an accomplished facilitator and long-time trainer. Madeleine also provides professional supervision and leadership coaching across a range of professions.  She handles tough issues in a way, which, while remaining sensitive is also playful. 

‍Madeleine works across a range of sectors Private Enterprise, Not for Profit, Government, and private clients.

Madeleine also has a business supporting parents and teachers to raise resilient kids. www.resilientkids.org.nz

She has authored two books.
