About Mother's Network

Mothers Network is a not-for-profit organisation

that has been running in Wellington for almost 40 years.

Run by mums, for mums, we support and connect women facing the changes and challenges of being a mum through discussion groups. We also consider the impact motherhood has on other aspects of life, including relationships, career and sense of wellbeing.

Our discussion groups are run by women from our network who’ve previously attended a group and been through facilitator training. Over the last ten years more than 500 women have joined our network by attending a group, and over 3000 women are connected through our Facebook and Instagram pages.

All mothers are welcome to join our groups, regardless of background, stage or experiences. We also offer specific groups for single mums, single mums by choice, Māori mums, and busy mums (for those of us with way too much on!). These allow women to focus more deeply on those specific experiences of motherhood.

We provide childcare during our daytime group sessions to allow yourself to fully immerse into the group discussion. Our childcare team are very experienced and Police vetted.

We’re unique in that we focus entirely on your needs first, offering empathy and empowerment as you navigate motherhood.

Join us to find your tribe, connect with other women, and build your sense of wellbeing.
