Funding Officer - Permanent part-time
It’s an exciting time to join our organisation – we plan to grow our delivery to mothers, expand our governance group and have a significant anniversary to plan for next year!

You will have / can be:
We are currently outsourcing some of our work in the communications space but welcome experience and expertise in building a communication strategy so experience in communications strategy, media, or social marketing will support your application as will experience in a not for profit organisation.
A computer and access to the internet is essential.
This is a paid position – $25 per hour for 4 hours a week – and will require attendance at quarterly Board meetings (evenings face to face or online).

- The ability to manage a successful programme of grant applications and reporting
- Engaging – can keep our funders in the loop with how we are supporting mothers in our community
- Creative – work to source new sources of funds/revenue
- Commitment and have a strong work ethic and confidence to take initiative to achieve a lot with a little
- Strong motivation to improve the financial position of Mothers Network
- A team player, collaborating effectively with our Groups Coordination and Support role, but also self motivated to work from home on your own
- Self motivated – can manage your goals and work through priorities to get the mahi done
